Now located in the new St George's Church, technology has improved since those early days. The improvised footlights, made from old biscuit tins, have long-since been replaced with modern lighting equipment, and the scenery can be relied upon to stand firm!

We welcome Applications for membership from anyone who would like to "tread the boards" or get involved in other tasks, such as set design, scenery construction, lighting, sound, props, prompting, Box Office, costumes, making tea, sweeping the stage and all the other jobs that have to be done by a small, but dedicated drama group.

We are especially interested in directors and those interested in directing.

Tuesday 17th November - Reading of 'Admirable Crichton' - 8.00pm, St George's Hall

Tuesday 24th November - Reading of 'Kindly Leave the Stage' - 8.00pm, St George's Hall

Tuesday 1st December - Reading of 'Hobson's Choice' - 8.00pm, St George's Hall

Audition dates:- 19th and 26th January
Rehearsals commencing:- Tuesday 23rd February and every Tuesday and Thursday thereafter until production week
